The Joys of Owning a Havanese
You will be embarking on a wonderful adventure. This is a low-allergic, playful, healthy breed of dog that will be a member of your family for many years. The Havanese originated in Cuba, and although it is an ancient breed, the first lines did not appear until 1974. The Havanese Club of America was founded in 1979 by Dorothy Goodale. The United Kennel Club recognized the breed in 1991.
